Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer at Nonobrac, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems for our renewable energy projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on pioneering projects that enhance the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of clean energy technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Design and develop mechanical components and systems for renewable energy technologies, including wind turbines, solar panels, and energy storage solutions.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Create prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to validate designs, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and durability standards.
  • Optimization: Analyze and optimize mechanical systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance performance.
  • Project Management: Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and materials scientists, to integrate mechanical designs into comprehensive renewable energy solutions.
  • Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and renewable energy technologies. Apply innovative approaches to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and specifications. Present findings and project updates to stakeholders and at industry conferences.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all mechanical designs and systems comply with relevant safety, environmental, and industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
  • Experience: Proven experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in the design and development of renewable energy systems. Experience with wind turbine design, thermal systems, or structural analysis is highly desirable.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB). Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
