Job Description

As a Material Scientist at Nonobrac, you will play a critical role in developing and optimizing materials for renewable energy applications. Your work will bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical implementation, ensuring that our innovations are both groundbreaking and feasible for real-world use. Key Responsibilities

  • Innovative Research: Conduct pioneering research on advanced materials and their applications in renewable energy technologies, focusing on solar panels, wind turbines, and energy storage systems.
  • Material Development: Develop, test, and optimize new materials to enhance the efficiency, durability, and affordability of renewable energy solutions.
  • Collaborative Integration: Work closely with engineers, scientists, and product development teams to integrate new materials into practical, scalable applications.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze experimental data to draw actionable insights, guiding the development of next-generation materials. Prepare detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders and at scientific conferences.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure all developed materials meet environmental, safety, and industry standards. Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance in all research and development activities.
  • Publication and Dissemination: Publish research findings in top-tier scientific journals and present at industry-leading conferences to share insights and advancements.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple research projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of objectives and maintaining the highest quality of research.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master's degree or PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in materials research, particularly in renewable energy applications. A strong track record of published research is preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of material properties, experimental techniques, and analytical tools. Experience with advanced characterization methods such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and atomic force microscopy (AFM) is highly desirable.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely. Experience in preparing grant proposals and technical reports is a plus.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
