Job Description
As an AI/ML Software Engineer at Nonobrac, you will be responsible for developing and deploying AI and machine learning solutions that enhance the efficiency and reliability of renewable energy systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects that have a direct impact on the future of clean energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Algorithm Development: Design, implement, and optimize machine learning algorithms tailored for renewable energy applications, such as predictive maintenance, energy forecasting, and smart grid management.
- Data Management: Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets from various renewable energy systems. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the process.
- Model Training and Evaluation: Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models to ensure high accuracy and performance. Continuously improve models based on new data and insights.
- System Integration: Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate AI/ML solutions into existing energy systems. Ensure seamless operation and reliability.
- Innovation and Research: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning. Apply new techniques and technologies to improve the performance of renewable energy systems.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document all stages of development, from design to deployment. Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders and at industry conferences.
- Mentorship and Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Education: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models. Prior experience in renewable energy applications is a plus.
- Technical Expertise: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java. Proficiency in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Data Science Skills: Expertise in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and statistical analysis. Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark is advantageous.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
